環境省にて紹介している、「みちのく潮風トレイル」。
青森県八戸市から福島県相馬市までの、とてもとても長い道で、森と海のどちらの恵みも感じることができる豊かな道です。
森、里、川、海のつながりから生まれた自然とそこで紡がれた物語は、このトレイルだけが持つ美しい魅力。
それを期間限定でほんの少しだけ紹介いたします。
三沢空港を訪れた際はちょっとだけ覗いてみてください。
・場所：2階出発ロビー（レストラン横）

The “Misawa Sky Day Festival” will be held at Misawa Airport on Saturday, September 28th, and Sunday, September 29th, 2024!
Misawa Airport is easily accessible from the city center and is a very rare airport in Japan, as it is jointly used by the U.S. Forces Japan, Japan Air Self Defense Force, and commercial airlines.
We planned this event for people with few opportunities to fly, and people from neighboring communities would become familiar with Misawa Airport and learn more about it.
Family fun! We are waiting for you with many events in which you can eat, play, and learn.

Time / 10:00~12:00 (Registration will begin at 9:30~)
Place / Misawa Airport Terminal
You can see facilities that are usually off-limits, as well as “Ground handling,” and you can also experience baggage inspection using the “metal detectors” and “X-ray monitors” that are actually used at airports!
*Limited to 15 pairs (1 elementary/junior high school child + 1 parent/guardian). Advance application is required.

This exhibition introduces the trajectory of Misawa’s predecessors, from Miss Beadle, which made “the Transpacific Flight” in the early Showa period, to the construction of the U.S. military base after WWII to the new urban development of today.
*Limited to 30 people; advance application is required.Applications will be closed to reach the maximum number.

We will welcome an active Japan Airlines (JAL) pilot as a lecturer. The pilot will teach us about changes in the global environment as seen from an altitude of 3300 feet and environmental initiatives being put into practice in aircraft operations!This class is for elementary school students in grades 3 to 6, but please feel free to join us if you are interested, regardless of your grade!

Oirase Beer (From Towada City)
Craft beer using the interflow water of Hakkoda (the source water of the Oirase Gorge that has taken many years to emerge)! We also sell snacks that go well with beer and beer that you can take home and enjoy.
SUNSET BROS (From Misawa City)
We are selling a collaborative beer developed by Misawa’s music label & Beer Geek “SUNSET BROS” and the Hotarubi brewery in Asamushi, Aomori City! You can taste rare beers that are only available at events.
You might just find a real bargain!A flea market with American stalls!
Time/ 9:30 Misawa station show up / Departure
A full-day tour from Misawa station – Misawa Airport – Misawa Aviation and Science Museum, Aomori – Skyplaza Misawa (shopping) back to Misawa station!
During the tour of Misawa Airport, you will be guided around areas that are usually off-limits, with explanations by local historian Mr. Tadashi Kawamura on the history of “the city of the sky, Misawa”.

2024年9月28日(土)、29日(日)の2日間、三沢空港にて『空の日まつり』を開催します！
三沢空港は市内からのアクセスが良く、在日米軍、航空自衛隊、民間航空の三者が共同で使用している、国内でも大変珍しい飛行場です。普段飛行機に乗ることが少ない方や近隣市町村の方々に、三沢空港に親しみ・空港のことを知っていただきたいという想いからこのイベントを企画しました。
家族みんなでたのしい！食べて遊んで見て学べる、たくさんの催し物を準備してお待ちしております。

三沢空港内の見学では、「大空の街MISAWAの歴史」郷土史家川村正先生の解説付きで、普段は入ることができない場所をご案内します。

※お申し込みはお子様1名＋保護者1名となります。2人目のお子様は1人目とは別な保護者の付き添いが必ず必要となります。
